Account
You sign in on the console. Kedrel does not store your password. Creating an account requires accepting the terms of use and the terms of sale, and presents the privacy policy.
Create and sign in
Create an account with your email and a password, or with Google. Kedrel emails a six-digit code from [email protected] to confirm the address. You can ask for a new code every thirty seconds.
If you forget the password, ask for a reset link on the sign-in page. The answer is the same whether or not the address has an account. A new password signs out the other sessions.
Remember me keeps the session for thirty days. Without it, the session ends when the browser closes, and in any case after twelve hours.
Language, theme and news
The account starts in the language of the site you used: English, or French under /fr. After that, the language in Settings wins. The browser language does not.
The theme follows the system, or you can set light or dark in Settings.
Product news is off unless you check the box. You can change it later in Settings. Kedrel sends no news without that choice. The choice is stored with its date.
Two-factor authentication
An authenticator app is optional, in Settings. You scan a code, then enter a code from the app. A wrong code cancels the setup. Turning it off asks for a valid code.
There are no backup codes. Kedrel cannot restore a lost authenticator. The secret stays with the sign-in service, not in Kedrel.
Sign-in email
Each sign-in sends you an email: the time in your time zone, the IP address, the city and country when Cloudflare saw them, the browser and the system, and whether you used a password or Google. Kedrel does not keep those details. They exist only in that email.
Export
Settings can download a ZIP of the files stored in Kedrel: uploads, and files you chose to keep from Gmail or Drive. Folder names are kept. The archive opens as a folder. A file named kedrel-account.json holds the account record: email, name, language, dates, and the news choice.
Mail, calendar, contacts, and Drive files you only look at stay where they are. They are not in the archive. Neither is the journal.
Close the account
Closing is permanent. Settings offers the export first, then asks you to confirm. Kedrel revokes Google and every connected AI, deletes what it stores, and deletes the sign-in. Files that stayed at Google stay at Google.
If Google cannot be reached, nothing is deleted and Settings says so.
Settings also keeps a journal of account changes and of what an AI did: who, which action, when, and the outcome. Not the content. The journal lasts as long as the account and is deleted with it.
